Terms of Service

Back to dashboard

Effective date: June 15, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Leoric Watch, including the uptime monitoring, SSL monitoring, slow-response detection, alerting, reporting, billing, and account management features. By creating an account, using the free plan, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Leoric Watch is a hosted monitoring service for websites, APIs, SSL certificates, incidents, alert delivery, and monthly uptime reporting. We may improve, modify, or discontinue parts of the service over time, provided that paid customers continue to receive the core monitoring functionality included in their active plan during the current billing period.

Monitoring results depend on network conditions, third-party infrastructure, your target endpoints, and alert providers such as email, Telegram, Discord, or customer-configured webhooks. Leoric Watch is designed to help you detect problems, but it is not a guarantee that every outage, certificate issue, or incident will be detected or delivered to every alert destination.

2. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your login credentials, and all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not use Leoric Watch for unlawful monitoring, abusive traffic, credential stuffing, scraping, security probing without authorization, spam, or activity that disrupts the service or other customers.

3. Plans, Subscriptions, and Billing

Paid plans are subscription services billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis unless stated otherwise at checkout. Current plan limits are:

  • Free: 25 monitors, checks every 5 minutes, email alerts
  • Standard: EUR 4.99 per month, 50 monitors, checks every 2 minutes, email and Telegram alerts
  • Plus: EUR 9.99 per month, 100 monitors, checks every 1 minute, email, Telegram, Discord, and webhook alerts
  • Pro: EUR 24.99 per month, 1000 monitors, checks every 30 seconds, Plus alert channels

Prices, included limits, and available features are shown on the billing page before purchase. Taxes, VAT, currency conversion, and any payment-provider fees may be handled by our payment provider and may vary by location or payment method.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Paddle. Paddle may act as the payment processor or merchant of record for your purchase, depending on your location and the checkout configuration. Your bank statement, receipt, or invoice may show Paddle or an affiliated Paddle entity.

We do not store full card numbers. Payment method details, payment authorization, tax calculation, invoice generation, and payment collection are handled by Paddle under Paddle's applicable terms and privacy notices.

By submitting payment information, you authorize recurring charges for the selected plan and any selected recurring add-ons until you cancel, downgrade, or change the subscription in accordance with these terms.

5. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Pro Capacity

Existing paid subscribers change plans through a subscription update. Upgrades and Pro capacity increases may create an immediate prorated charge, which is shown for review before the change is applied.

Downgrades and Pro capacity reductions do not create an immediate refund or cash credit unless required by law or expressly approved by us. The new lower plan or capacity may apply immediately in the product, but the current billing period remains subject to the refund policy below.

If your current monitor usage exceeds the limit of the plan or capacity you want, you must delete enough monitors before the downgrade or capacity reduction can be completed.

6. Renewals and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel auto-renew before the renewal date. You can cancel auto-renew from the billing page when the feature is available for your account, or by contacting support.

Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Your paid access normally remains available until the end of the current billing period, unless the account is terminated for breach, abuse, chargeback, fraud, or legal reasons.

Deleting monitors, disabling alert channels, deleting your account, or not using the service does not automatically cancel billing. You must cancel the subscription or contact support if you need help cancelling.

7. Refund Policy

Unless required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not provide automatic refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused monitor capacity, downgrades, forgotten cancellations, temporary service interruptions, or account inactivity.

We may issue refunds or credits at our discretion for duplicate charges, billing errors, accidental purchases reported promptly, or service issues that materially prevent use of the paid service. Refund requests should be sent to support within 14 days of the charge and must include the account email, invoice or transaction reference, and the reason for the request.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights, statutory withdrawal rights, or refund rights that apply under the laws of your country. If a mandatory law gives you a right to cancel or receive a refund, we will honor that right.

8. Failed Payments, Chargebacks, and Past-Due Accounts

If a payment fails, Paddle or Leoric Watch may retry the payment, notify you, request an updated payment method, limit paid features, mark the account as past due, or suspend paid access until the payment issue is resolved.

If you dispute a charge with your bank without first contacting support, we may suspend or terminate the related account while the dispute is investigated. Chargebacks, fraud, or abusive refund behavior may result in account termination.

9. Billing Records and Taxes

Billing history and invoices are provided through the billing page when available from Paddle. You are responsible for reviewing invoices, keeping billing information current, and ensuring that any tax, VAT, business, or exemption information you provide is accurate.

10. Data Collection and Storage

Leoric Watch collects and stores information needed to provide monitoring, alerting, account management, security, and billing features, including:

  • Account information such as email address, display name, and password hash
  • Monitor configuration such as endpoint URLs, check intervals, and timeout settings
  • Check results, response times, HTTP status codes, and error logs
  • Incident timestamps, degraded-state transitions, status, and resolution history
  • SSL check results, certificate metadata, and SSL alert sent-state
  • Alert channels, notification preferences, destination addresses, Telegram chat IDs, Discord webhook URLs, generic webhook URLs, headers, and signing-secret metadata
  • Monthly report preferences and monthly report send-state
  • Billing identifiers, plan state, subscription status, invoices, and transaction references
  • Session, security, and authentication data

11. Data Retention and Account Deletion

Check results and SSL checks are retained for 60 days by default unless the retention period changes in the product configuration. Monthly report send-state and SSL alert sent-state are retained while the owning account and monitors exist so we can prevent duplicate reports and duplicate certificate warnings.

Account deletion requires password confirmation and cannot be completed while an active paid subscription remains on the account. When you delete your account, service data associated with your account is permanently deleted from active application records, including monitors, groups, historical check results, SSL checks, incidents, alert channels, notification settings, authentication tokens, verification tokens, monthly report send-state, and profile data.

Some billing, security, backup, and legal records may be retained where required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or legitimate business records. Platform-level operational records such as Paddle webhook events and worker heartbeats may be preserved for reconciliation and service integrity.

12. Compliance with EU and Greek Law

Leoric Watch is based in Greece and complies with:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Greek Data Protection Law (Law 4624/2019)
  • Applicable consumer, e-commerce, tax, and payment laws where mandatory

13. Service Availability and Disclaimer

We work to keep Leoric Watch reliable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free monitoring, delivery of every alert, or detection of every incident.

14. Automated Access and Abuse

Automated access to Leoric Watch is not permitted without our prior written permission. This includes bots, robots, crawlers, scrapers, automated agents, scripts, or any other automated tools used to create accounts, access the service, collect data, test rate limits, probe endpoints, or otherwise interact with Leoric Watch in a way that is not ordinary human use.

We reserve the right to block, rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts and traffic that appear to involve unauthorized automation, abuse, scraping, credential stuffing, spam, security probing, or activity that may degrade service availability or security.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or service availability resulting from your use of or inability to use Leoric Watch.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for Leoric Watch during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless a higher amount is required by mandatory law.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for the service, interfere with other customers, involve fraud or payment abuse, or require termination for legal or security reasons. You may stop using the service at any time, but cancellation and refund rules continue to apply to paid subscriptions.

17. Changes to Plans, Prices, and Terms

We may update these terms, plan limits, features, or prices from time to time. Material changes to paid subscriptions will be posted in the product, sent by email, shown at checkout, or reflected before the next renewal where required. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in another jurisdiction apply. If a dispute cannot be resolved through support, the competent courts of Greece will have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

19. Contact

For questions about these terms, billing, cancellation, or refunds, contact us at [email protected].
